Hey everyone! Its been a crazy week! So much has happened! So much has changed! Here's what happened:
First of all, remember that super cool island I went to a couple of weeks ago?
Thats my new area haha.
Haida Gwaii ain't done yet haha.
Also it's been 1 year!
Wow
I can't believe it's been that long, but I've been grateful for all the experiences and people I've met!
This
week was absolute chaos with transfers and moving missionaries around.
It was very very sad to say goodbye to everyone in Prince Rupert. I love
that branch so much, and the people we were teaching are amazing!
Hopefully I can zoom into Kamin's baptism.
With all of the chaos, I have been everywhere from Prince Rupert, to Terrace, to Smithers, and to Kitimat.
Our apartment on Haida Gwaii doesn't open for another week or so, so we are staying in Kitimat for the time being.
There
are 4 of us missionaries going to Haida Gwaii, 2 in the North, and 2 in
the South. I am in the south in a place called Skidegate.
My
new companion is a dream companion. We have served around each other
practically my entire mission and we have really wanted to be
companions. My new companion is Elder Evans! He is from just outside
Norwich, UK. He is an incredible missionary, and super spiritual!
With this being my year mark, I guess I want to share how my mission has built me up to where I am now.
One
thing I have prayed for so much on my mission is to be a successful
missionary. And the Lord truly has been helping me with that.
Throughout the highs and the lows of the last year, I have seen myself change, and seen my testimony sour.
I see the lives I have changed, the impacts I have made.

These
are only a few, but I am so grateful to be put in the path of all of
these people. There lives have been changed, but also, they have changed
me.
I am grateful for the wonderful companions I have had, who have supported and helped me to grow and focus on this great work.
Elder Salmon/Bullock
Elder Achal
Elder Walcer
Elder Fitzgarrald/Goth
Elder Gutierrez
Elder Livingston
Elder Evans
I am grateful for the amazing leaders and others who have inspired me and guided me throughout this incredible last year.
I am grateful for the family and friends who have supported me, and brought me strength through every step of this mission.
But
most importantly, I am grateful for the Lord. For calling me here,
making this all possible. I am grateful for the innumerable miracles and
tender mercies he has given. For his loving hand which has led, and
supported me as I have labored in his vineyard.
Over this last year I have found a scripture that has been my Anchor, my hope, as I have served:
"Wherefore,
whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea,
even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith,
maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and
steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God."
-Ether 12:4
1 year down
1 year to go
Let's see what amazing miracles the Lord will provide to all of us :)
Everyone have an amazing week! And let's see what this next year brings!
Haawa!
-Elder Biesinger
