Hey yall! This weeks been great! Such spirit filled! Not much happened, but heres what happened:
Highlights:
-Exchange with Elder Magno in Masset!
-General Conference!
-Potlatch after General Conference Saturday!
-Miracle with Ooka!
Lowlights:
-We
had a service yesterday moving some stuff, and I felt my finger get
pricked a little. Didnt think too much of it, until I looked at my hand a
few minutes later and it was covered in blood. Dont worry Im okay. A
bit of a scare from a tiny cut haha.
Exchange
with Elder Magno: We actually had so many miracles on this exchange. We
met so many great people, had so many promptings, and the spirit filled
the whole day! An excellent exchange for sure!
Ooka:
We did service for Ooka a month ago or so, she was sick, so her
daughter showed us around. But yesterday, we ran into Ooka at a gas
station! She expressed her gratitude, and wants us to come over in the
next week or so to share a message with her! We havent had many people
to teach here, so its a big miracle for us!
General Conference: Where to start? Just a spectacular conference! But heres a cool miracle that came from one of the speakers:
-When
Elder Rasband talked about senior couples coming on missions, it was
nothing short of incredible for us! With bringing the gospel back to
Haida Gwaii, senior missionariss are critical to establishing the church
here. We have been trying to get a senior couple here as fast as we
can. But its been tough. So when Elder Rasband talked about that, it was
just incredible!
There were many personal miracles I also experienced with General Conference. It was almost like a waterfall of revelation haha.
But anyways, here are some of my favorite speakers:
-Elder Bednar
-Elder Phillips
-Elder Sabin(He visited when we had the mission tour back in May)
-Sister Runia
-President Ballard
-Elder Uchtdorf
-President Nelson
Anyways,
thats all for this week! We have the Terrace Elders visiting from the
mainland today so thats exciting! Hope yall have a great week!
Haawa!
