Cinderblocks, Exchanges, Scoopz, And a Little Bit of Bob Marley

September 5, 2022

Well guess what... another week has gone by and there's a lot that has happened.

Goods:
- We went on a really amazing hike with an awesome lake/ forest view.
- Scoopz! Its the best ice-cream parlor in all the Loops haha.
- The Chinese food here is next level. A member took us to one place and the chow mein(or however you spell that haha) had shrimp, squid, Tomatoes, and zucchini. Yum!
- District Council and the drives to and from Kamloops and Salmon Arm.
- Exchanges with the Zone leaders! I went up to Kelowna and spent a day with Elder Cook and Elder Wilkins, a zone leader and a district leader. And they are AMAZING at missionary work. I still have a ton to learn haha.

Bads:
- I was SUPER tired this week.
- We did a 6 hour service for some members that was carrying cinderblocks and it was about 35 Celsius or 95 Fahrenheit. We were all super sore after.
- The grasshoppers are still a problem, but now wasps are added to it.
- Elder Canals who is one of the other Elders here in Kamloops badly sprained his ankle while playing volleyball and is now having to use crutches for the next few weeks.

Our teaching appointments with Hitesh and Michelle are going really well. They both are super receptive and willing to do the invitations we give them. Who knows maybe we will put Hitesh on baptism date in the next few weeks...

But I am doing well, hard to believe this transfer is halfway over already, its gone so fast! We still have a surplus amount of food, and it still baffles me how beautiful it is here in Kamloops.

I hope all is going well for everyone. I hope yall are enjoying hearing my stories. But if yall are having a hard time just remember the words of Bob Marley:
"Don't worry, about a thing. Cause every little things gonna be all right."
Everything's gonna be alright. Our Heavenly Father will not have us endure through challenges unless he knows we can overcome them. Look forward with a bright mind, looking  the good little things and I can promise that you will find peace and comfort in your challenges.

Anyways Yall that's it for this week, I'm sure more interesting experiences will happen in the years to come.
