95 degrees in May?! I thought I was in Canada?!🔥🔥

Hello Everyone! Hope everyone had an amazing week! This week was a bit more exciting! Heres what happened:

Also Happy Mothers Day to all the amazing mothers out there! Especially my own Mom! I love you!! Thank you for all you do!

Highlights:

-Elders P-day! We did board games and Volleyball! It was a ton of fun!

-We went to this burger place after District Council on Wednesday that was totally a Five Guys knockoff. Five Guys is still better haha🍔

-Interviews! On Friday we got to go to Richmond for Interviews with President Gill! It was the PERFECT summer day! It was beautiful! I also got to see Elder Goth again so that was awesome!

-Summer is here! This week was Hot! We got up to 95 degrees some days! I thought everyone said Canada was cold! Haha

-The Filipino members in the ward had a Potluck at a nearby park! Not only was there delicious Filipino food, but we also played some Volleyball too!

-Exchange with Elder Lowry! We did a ton of Finding! We went around Downtown and on Buses and we met our new friends Paul and Levar! They are both super interested in coming to church!

-Rajeesh Miracle!

Lowlights:

-With the nice weather, I did also get sunburnt a few times :(

-My farmers tan is already coming back haha

-We haven't heard anything from Collin in over a week. Please keep him in your prayers.

Rajeesh: Rajeesh is a friend that the other 1st ward Elders were teaching before they merged their area with ours. All transfer we have been trying to get in contact with Rajeesh. But on Sunday we were at church, I was looking around to see if any of our friends made it, when I saw Rajeesh AND his family were there! We talked to them after and they all LOVED church! The kids loved Primary and YW! Such a miracle! 

This upcoming week also will have some exciting events:

-We have a temple trip today!

-On Sunday we are going to 3 different ward buildings for social media from Vancouver to Burnaby to North Shore! It will be super cool to see more of the lower mainland!

This week I have been doing a lot of scripture reading in preparation for a General Authority who is coming in a few weeks to the mission! And this scripture really stuck out to me this week:

"And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you."

-Joshua 3:5

The Lord blesses us and gives us miracles everyday! But we still need to Sanctify and prepare ourselves everyday!
