Hello Everyone! Hope everyone has had a great week getting ready for Christmas! Not a whole lot happened this week, but here's what happened:
Highlights:
-
Me and Elder Walcer wrote a sick piano duet arrangement of Angels We
Have Heard On High. Stay tuned on Facebook, we will be posting it on
Friday/Saturday...
- Me and Elder Walcer have been called to
be the English Social Media Page Managers over the Come Unto Christ
Facebook Page which covers all of British Columbia.
- I played organ in Sacrament meeting this week
- Two member families had a Christmas Party at the church and we got to go!
Lowlights:
- Not a lot of teaching this week :/
- Been kinda hectic with the calling but it has kept us busy so that's good
Not
a whole lot this week, lots of people couldn't meet for lessons or
anything because of preparation for the holidays. Also everyone is
freaking out about less than an inch of snow🙄 when its literally Canada
and they are used to feet of snow.
Me and
Elder Walcer were really worried about this, because we are in a small
area, and its REALLY hard to find people in the winter here. But its
been a challenge and a blessing to be called as the English Social Media
Managers. It has given us a different way to help bring people closer
to Christ and to work with other missionaries.
So
in this new calling, we are the managers of the Come Unto Christ
Facebook group in British Columbia. Our responsibility is to organize
efforts and give out assignments to the missionaries who film, direct,
and edit Facebook posts, reels, stories, etc. We approve ideas and made
media with our Mission President and post them on the page.
So
me and Elder Walcer now work with and help 3 other sets of missionaries
all over British Columbia, and help direct the english social media
efforts in the mission. Think of us as district leaders over social
media. Quite a bit of responsibility to give 2 Elders that are still
pretty new. But I guess I gotta learn how to utilize and use Facebook
now haha...
Anyways that's really it :/ im
sorry I wish I had more but this weeks been kinda hectic with Zone
Conference coming up and this new calling. But hopefully next weeks will
be more interesting haha.
Anyways everyone
have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!! Thank you for reading all my emails and I
hope you have a wonderful holiday season! May the spirit bring peace to
yall!
