Shepherd Of My Soul

Hello everyone! This has been one exciting week! I'm excited to share it with yall!

Highlights:

- Exchange with Elder Atty!

- Lessons with Madi and Jolee!

- The members here are absolutely amazing!

- The Christmas Social

- I finally used my piano skills in sacrament meeting🥳

- We put Madi on date for Baptism in January🥳🥳

By the way... I am starting this email before I hear about transfers so here's my guess on what's gonna happen, and at the end of the email, when I find out, I'll let you know what happens haha.

My predictions: I am staying in Port Alberni, but Elder Walcer is going to be transfered out.

Exchange with Elder Atty: I went on Exchange with Elder Atty here in Port Alberni, it was an awesome time, we visited some members, and he gave me a bunch of good talks to listen to! This however was his last exchange, as on Wednesday, he is going home. He was an amazing District Leader, he taught me so much, and I will miss him. But I'm excited for him as well!

Lessons with Madi & Jolee: We were able to teach Madi 3 lessons this week and Jolee 1 lesson. They have been fighting this week a lot so we have had to teach them separately. But each lesson gives them so much hope and joy. Tonight, we also were able to put Madi on date for Baptism! I am so excited she is wanting to make this big step towards returning to Heavenly Father!

Our ward put on a luncheon on Sunday after church! It was amazing cause Jolee and Madi were able to come! Also we had wings and lots of chocolate deserts haha. But the most exciting part of it was that Madi and Jolee connected with one of our members! She has been able to come to 2 of our lessons with them, and its been amazing! She has really helped them to feel more comfortable with the church.

Now, to explain the name of the title, a song me and Elder Walcer have been listening to lately that is really good is called Shepherd Of My Soul Its by Rivers & Robots. It really brings the spirit and we listen to it every night before bed.

Also, it has snowed here, and its heavy and SUPER WET its so annoying and is taking forever to melt. Otherwise the temperature is basically the same.

Ok... the transfer news. Drum roll..... Nothings changing haha. Me and Elder Walcer are staying here in Port Alberni! I get to stay here for Christmas and with such an amazing companion! I also will be around for Madi's Baptism! Winter on the Island!
