Hello everyone! This week absolutely flew by! Here's what happened!
Highlights:
-I am LOVING this summer weather! Much better than 100 degrees haha
-Saw another Lamborghini haha
-Institute!
-My Volleyball Skills are definitely improving haha
-Soccer!
We have started up Saturday Soccer with a bunch of YSA members from all
over the Greater Vancouver area! It was a ton of fun and I even scored a
couple of goals!
-The members here are seriously amazing! I think Surrey is turning into my favorite area so far!
-Turns
out I kinda know how to play the drums haha. We went to a members and I
played Dancing Queen by ABBA and Shivers by Ed Sheeran. I think I did
alright haha. It was fun!
-We had a SUPER spiritual lesson with a new member named Robin!
-For a service we did a bit of demolition. It was fun! We destroyed some cabinets and tore up some carpet haha
-Did some street contacting over at Tynehead regional park and it was beautiful!
Lowlights:
-Honestly
there really wasn't any. Me and Elder Guttierez are getting along SUPER
well and even though the work is a bit slow, the Lord is keeping us
busy! We are seeing Miracles daily!
-Wait.... no there is
one... Cotton season is here so there is cotton and pollen all in the
air so my allergies have been pretty bad this week haha.
Anyways,
that's all for this week! I'm sorry, not any super exciting stories
this week, so it's a short weekly. But God is good and I know Miracles
will happen each and every day!
Also
I have been studying Psalm 30 a lot over the last few weeks. It is
turning into one of my favorite chapters in the Old Testament! I
especially love verse 5 which says:
"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."
Even
though hard times come and we may feel alone and lost, God always has a
plan for us. His love is never ending, He is always there to pick us up
and build us into who we need to become!
