Hello yall! Its been a busy, but INCREDIBLE week! Its amazing here in Surrey! Definitely a much different dynamic, but so far, its amazing! Its gonna be a short email, with all the adjusting this week.
Highlights:
-Transfering with a bunch of Elders I love!(Elder Nelson, Elder Cook, & Elder Peñúñuri)
-My
new Companion Elder Fitzgarrald! He is a stud! Super dedicated and its
also his last transfer, so we are GRINDING. This week has flown by!
-Youth Dodgeball night!
-We are going to the temple today!🥳
-I finally took off the jacket this week! It hit 16C or 60F degrees for yall! Sun was out and it was nice and warm!
Lowlights:
-Surrey is all subarbs and city, so not much nature and cool pictures :(
Transfers:
Transfers was bittersweet. It was sad to finally say goodbye to Elder
Walcer after 3 transfers and 2 areas. It was sad to say goodbye to the
members in Nanaimo and Port Alberni. But I have definitely made some
member friends that I hope to stay in contact with! Transfer day was
hectic. I was travelling from 8AM to 9:30PM due to ferry delays and
travels. A long day, but I got to spend it with some sick Elders!
Youth
Dodgeball: On Friday we had a Tri-Stake Youth Dodgeball activity! It
was sick! Over 200 youth was there and us missionaries got to be refs!
It was super fun and we got to know a lot of youth & members!
The
rest of the week: This week was full of getting to know the area and
the members. Elder Fitzgarrald has only had 2 weeks in this area, and it
used to be the Social Media Leaders area, so not much teaching has
happened in a bit. This week we did a lot of calling, and visiting
members. We also had a lot of meetings with Social Media stuff, so we
stayed pretty busy.
Anyways, thats all for this
week! We have the temple today and zone conference tomorrow! Will be a
great week! There are miracles in Surrey😎
