Hey yall! Crazy another week flew by! We've been super busy here in the YSA, so here's a quick update on what happened this week:
Highlights:
-Exchange with Elder Witt in Vancouver YSA!
-Exchange with Elder Schierlman!
-Julio's Baptism! His Baptism was so sweet and he was so cheerful the whole time! Definitely a day to remember!
-We actually have 2 more exchanges this upcoming week haha. A busy few weeks!
-Stake Conference in Abbotsford! It was a great Stake Conference! A huge focus on the Temple, and we even got to teach our new friends Daniil at Anita after! They are from Estonia, so that's pretty cool! They are super awesome and have totally been prepared to hear the Gospel!
-We are super excited for our friend Emmanuel who will be getting Baptized this Saturday!!!
Exchange with Elder Witt in Vancouver: I finally made it to Vancouver for a day! Me and Elder Witt had a fantastic exchange, and saw so many Miracles! We went over to the University of British Columbia and talked to quite a few people and gave a few Book of Mormons out! We also had the opportunity to go Street Contacting in Downtown Vancouver in the pouring rain. I mean it was absolutely bucketing. We were soaked by the end, but some good memories and some great conversations! I learned so much from Elder Witt, a big one was diligence. We worked super hard on our exchange and we were able to see some pretty cool Miracles!
Exchange with Elder Schierlman: It was a blast doing another exchange with Elder Schierlman! This time we were in my area. We went over to Surrey and had some pretty cool conversations with some people. One guy we met was Kim. He moved from Korea a few years ago, and gave us Coconut water with pulp. It was very disgusting but we chugged it down anyways haha. We are hoping he gets to meet the Korean missionaries soon! We then went to a members place for dinner and they fed us steak so it all worked out haha. But nonetheless, a great exchange with Elder Schierlman!
