Take Two in the Fraser Valley YSA

Hey everyone! Apologies for not sending an email last week, but I'll update y'all on what happened. It's been a busy few weeks, here's what happened:

Highlights:

-Me and Elder Salmon got to see Mook again! (member from Haida Gwaii) She was so excited to see us and we had a fantastic lesson with her! 

-Last Tuesday we were able to go to the Temple! It was a very uplifting experience, and I got to say goodbye to some missionaries who were heading home the next day, so that was awesome. 

-We got to visit a very far part of our area. Hope BC. It's a small town past Chiliwack. We had some pretty cool Miracles while we were there. It was a beautiful day and very warm(It made me very happy haha) We also ran into some YSA from Surrey that don't come to the YSA so we talked with them for a bit and invited them to come! Following that, we got bashed by a homeless guy named Milton haha. 

-We got to go with Ethan to the Temple for his first time! It was awesome! The spirit was so strong and Ethan absolutely loved it! Its so cool to see someone we teach not only get Baptized, but be able to go to the Temple as well! 

-Transfers! Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to Elder Salmon. It was a fun transfer, but he is heading over to the Family Ward here in Langley. So I'll still get to see him everyone once and a while, which is nice. My new companion is Elder Hirst. He came out of Spanish work, which is pretty cool. He is also from England. We seem to be having a good time together so far which is pretty sweet. Glad I'm still in the Fraser Valley YSA, such a great Branch and I love the people here! 

-Emmanuel got Baptized! It was so incredible to see him get Baptized and Confirmed! I've never seen him smile so much! He was so joyful! We are excited to help him work towards the Temple! 

-Our friend Bryce came to church and we were able to have a super spiritual lesson with him afterwards! He is really pushing on preparing himself to be Baptized, so we are excited to keep working with him on that!
