Hey yall! It's been a fantastic week! Miracles are happening in the YSA! Here's what happened:
Highlights:
-Exchange with Elder Schierlman in Willoughby Ward! We met some cool people on the street and even found someone new for the Elders to teach!
-MLC in Richmond!
-We had the wonderful opportunity to go to 2 Baptisms this week! One in Abbotsford and one in the YSA! They both were super spiritual, and our new friend Junior even came to the one in Abbotsford! He loved it and we hope to teach him a bit more this week!
-We met our new friend Emmanuel! He was taught by Sisters over in Surrey, but he wants to be Baptized in the YSA! We are excited to work with him and help him to prepare for his Baptism next week!
-We are so excited for our friend Ethan's Baptism this Saturday! He is a legend and he is so excited for his Baptism! It was wonderful to meet with him this week and hear him testify of how he has found peace through meeting with us and growing closer to Jesus Christ!
-Our friend Julio is also super excited for his Baptism next week! It has been incredible to see the change in him over these last few weeks!
-Golden Referral: On Sunday, Sisters in Coquitlam sent us a Referal named Natthan. We immediately called him and ended up having a 15min call/lesson with him! He plans to come to institute this week and wants to talk to us about Baptism! We are so excited to meet Natthan and start working with him!
MLC: It was such a good MLC, I learned so much. One thing I loved was we were able to do a study of Jacob 5. We focused on the "roots" and how when we root ourselves to Jesus Christ we can get the nourishment we need to grow and bring forth good fruit. I have always loved Zenos' allegory of the olive trees. Not only does it show the plan of Salvation, but it shows our own individual mortal experience as well as the love that God has for us! Sometimes He has to prune us back and we may not understand why we are going through the trials we go through. But He sees beyond the present and sees how these trials shape us into something greater, something Celestial! It also shows that when we root ourselves to the Savior, we are able to grow little by little into our divine potential!
Anyways, that's all for this week! Hope yall have a blessed week and I'll talk to y'all next week!
-Elder Biesinger
