Speaking in Front of Half the Mission? No Biggie.

Alright everyone, it's been a crazy week. And by crazy, I mean absolutely crazy.

It was mostly crazy with preparations for the Mission Tour and with everything that happened at the mission tour. So get some popcorn, this might be a long one....

Highlights:
-It was a great week for institute. We had some non-members show up and the discussions were just fantastic.
-We went out to Mission and got to go to a cool Diner to get some milkshakes. It was pretty fun!
-Bob Ross Paint Night part 2. It was a ton of fun, however my painting looks pretty bad haha.
-We had a record high of 144 people at church this Sunday! It was absolutely crazy. We only had one friend, but it was still pretty cool.
-We started to teach our new friend Satya this week! He's pretty cool! He came to church and we had a great lesson on prayer afterwards!
-Mission Tour with President Bragg!
-Companion Study with President and Sister Bragg!

Alright here's the crazy stuff that happened:

The Mission Tour was split into two days, one for half the mission, and one for the other half of the mission. They both happened in Langley, and because we live 5 min away, we were in charge of quite a bit. It all went pretty smooth, but as you know, nothing ever goes according to plan.

The night before our Mission Tour(The first day) we had 6 other Elders stay at our place. We got home at 9pm and started to get ready for bed. At 9:20ish we get a call from our Mission President. He says he's 5 minutes from our apartment and asked if he could come by. We were confused why since it was past 9 and he lives an hour away. So we changed and waited for him to come.

He did the inspection and all went well, and then he told me and Elder Hirst that President and Sister Bragg asked to do a Companion Study Wednesday Morning with us at our apartment. Pretty nerve wracking but we were glad we cleaned our apartment well.

The next morning we were up early and at the church setting up for the meeting. Everything went smoothly.

The actual meeting was fantastic. I have lots of notes, but what stuck out to me and my companion, was that we needed to improve our companion studies. Kind of random, but we talked about it afterwards and started to Brainstorm ideas.

We had Mission Leadership Council after the Mission Tour with President Bragg. It was incredible and the Spirit was so strong. It was a wonderful day, and I still have much to ponder and study about.

This morning President and Sister Bragg arrived at our place early and we had companion study with them. We told them about our impression to improve our studies. We then had a Spirit filled and led discussion, and we all learned much. At the end of the meeting, President Bragg invited me and Elder Hirst to accompany them to the 2nd Mission Tour and briefly speak to everyone about our experience.

So this morning, a very nervous Elder Biesinger and Elder Hirst spoke in front of half the mission on the spot.

But it was really good, we were able to testify how the Spirit had inspired us to change and the Joy we felt as we acted on that. It was definitely a nerve-wracking experience, but one I won't forget.

Anyways that's the week. Crazy eh? A good crazy though. I can just bear witness that even though life gets crazy sometimes, and things don't go to plan, that God is always there for us and we can truly accomplish whatsoever thing He commandeth us to do!

Have a great week everyone! Take care!

Haawa!
