"The Lord Will Heal the Stroke of Our Wound."

Hey everyone! What a week it has been! It flew by. Here's a quick update on what happened:

Highlights:
-Thursday was so busy, we had some service and lessons all around our area. It was a bit chaotic, but I'll tell ya I slept so good that night!
-Mission Leadership Council! I always love MLC, it's such a great opportunity to receive revelation and to see the direction the mission is going!

Lowlights:
-I battled a bit of sickness this week, but I'm survivin!

Also, just so y'all know, next week my Preperation Day will be on Wednesday. Next Tuesday Elder Bragg of the Seventy will be visiting our mission, so we will be having a Mission Tour and MLC with him! I'm super excited! It's going to be awesome!

Spiritual Thought:

This week I was reading in Isaiah. He's super hard to understand, but there were some verses in Isaiah 30 that stuck out to me:

"Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant." - Verse 13

"Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound." - Verse 26

When I read this I was reminded of a dam, and how when a dam cracks, the water comes rushing out.

I feel like that's how it can feel for us sometimes, sometimes we feel like too much damage has been done, and that we can't come back. However we know that though Jesus Christ, we can make it back. As it says in Verse 26, he will bind(or seal) the breach and heal the wound.

Its a very hopeful message that the Atonement of Jesus Christ reaches all people, regardless of what we have done, and the damage that has happened.

Anyways, that's it for this week! Have a great week everyone!
