Sadly the Ewoks Were Nowhere to be Seen...

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great week! This week was super exciting! Heres what happened:

Highlights:
- Got to finally visit Cathedral Grove!
- Saturday was Elder Walcers birthday!🥳🥳
- Madi's Baptism!!!
- Our friend Susan who cant ever come to church was able to come to Madi's Baptism and feel the spirit!
- We sanded some walls for a member, and inhaled lots of dust haha. Reminded me of when I worked for Sunwood Homes haha.

Lowlights:
-It rained all week, but that honestly wasnt too bad.

Cathedral Grove: After District Council, me and Elder Walcer stopped by Cathedral Grove, a forest monument on the way to Port Alberni. They also filmed some of the Star Wars movies here. You know Ewoks? Some of those scenes haha. It was absolutely stunning, SO MUCH GREEN! Everything is covered in moss. Definitely not what im used to coming from the Red Rock of Southern Utah haha.

And sadly no, there were no Ewoks😥

Madi's Baptism: On Sunday Madi was Baptized and Confirmed! We are so excited and proud of her for making this next step towards returning to our Heavenly Father! The Baptism went really well, lots of her family came and almost the WHOLE WARD came and supported her! The spirit was so strong and she said that she absolutely loved it and she was so happy!

Its crazy to see someone completely turn towards Jesus Christ. Seeing the progress Madi has made is astounding! It makes me so happy to see her feel the Joy and Happiness of the gospel!

Anyways, not a whole lot for this week, but it was still a special week. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Stay safe! I keep yall in my prayers!
